I am Andreas Kern, a political economist studying how economic and political dynamics shape financial systems and policymaking. My research focuses on the political economy of central banks, credit markets, and financial crises. At Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public Policy (MSPP), I teach classes in political economy and global business affairs. I also advise public and private institutions on economic policy.
